The one year itch
STATE OF MIND: ANGRY AND CONFUSED
Every relationship starts of as being so beautiful, that one invariably ends up feeling that it is the best thing to have happened to them...... till about the first one year. i.e. if you have lasted that long.
If not, then good for you.... you have made the right decison. I have started respecting those people who keep moving from one boy friend to another.... "enjoy and move on". They are the kinds who dont get emotionally tied down.
well to move on... i now come to those who have crossed the one year mark and feel all happy and proud.
These guys are the most respected among their group of friends.
They are given the golden couple tag among their peers.
They are considered to be the love gurus, solving love problems for the not so happy in love guys.
But to tell you a deep dark secret... WE ARE NOT HAPPY
After 1 year this is what happens:
1) For ur boyfriend, you become a thing of convinience, he can miss you when he wants and will tell you to buzz of when he feels like it. But the same does not hold true for the GF. her rhtym of missing the BF have to match or its dooms day for the relationship.
2) Suddenly after one year, meeting and spending time with each other becomes least important. from earlier comments of "how will i live without you for the entire night", you hear " so what! its only been 15 days we have not met"
3) Earlier every thing you said was considered so cute and now even a simple sentence, is considered "whiny"
4) Now holding hands is suddenly considered indecent.
5) After one year you actually can remember the exact day, date and time of your last alone time with him: day:friday date:22 nov 2005 time 1:00 pm -4:00 pm
its 1 year 8 months for me and my BF and today i have just banged the phone 3 times on him. i cant remember why i banged the phone.....but all i can remember is that it had something to do with the fact that i have not seen him in 15 days.
lastly to all those in love people.... remember the mush fest is not gonna last too long.

oh nivi come on... u can get bored after a while but its no reason to move on... esp not if u cant rem the reason u banged the fone.. the day u can rem the reason AND u have no problem in sharing it with everybody... thts the day u need to rethink ur relationship... u get my drift about what issues usually lead to sad breakups... love u darling.. take care n keep it working... the magic depends on how U make it..
